Effective September 26, 2024 the NPDB requires all accounts to be identity verified.
This is required to comply with the federal government's security requirements issued by NIST, the National Institute of Standards and Technology. The NPDB has partnered with ID.me to meet these standards. Select Sign in and use your ID.me account to sign in. If ID.me displays identity verification steps, please complete all steps displayed.
Don't have an ID.me account? Select Sign in. Then, on the ID.me sign in page, select "Create an ID.me account." You must set up multi-factor authentication, or MFA, for your NPDB account before verifying your account with ID.me.
If you have not signed in for 60 days you will be prompted to reactivate your account by XMS and NPDB.
Note: If you have signed in to your report before, you may still need to complete some or all of this process.
Select Sign in to get started.
