In our effort to share knowledge and educate users on NPDB policy and operations, we are pleased to bring you a collection of presentations and videos on policy, research, and compliance topics. These webcasts are intended to enhance your understanding of the NPDB and inform you about recent initiatives.

The 1-hour webinar will provide a practical explanation of the online sources of support and data for NPDB users and researchers. The presentation will showcase popular sources such as the NPDB Guidebook, infographics, and compliance map. In addition, the presentation will include a detailed discussion about the contents and usage of the NPDB Data Analysis Tool and Public Use File. At the completion of the course, attendees will be able to:

  • determine what NPDB research and data resources are available to the public;
  • complete the Confidentiality and Data Use Agreements;
  • use and interpret results from the online Data Analysis Tool; and
  • apply data results to drive educational, licensure, and other public health efforts.

The webinar is designed to be interactive, including a live demonstration of the Data Analysis Tool. The speakers will answer as many of the questions submitted during the registration and the webinar as possible before the event concludes.
