What if the name on my Self-Query response doesn't match the name I use?
We use the name you provided to ID.me to verify your identity as the primary name for your Self-Query. It may not match the name you use elsewhere such as a state licensing board. If the board uses a different name for you, select the Additional Name link on the Self-Query form and add it. You can also add other names you have used such as a maiden name. All names are displayed on your response.
If the primary name displayed is not your legal name, you must update your ID.me account. Review the instructions on how to change or update your name on ID.me Exit Image.
Note: Individuals cannot submit a Self-Query on someone else other than themselves.
