Looking for software updates to the QRXS? Can't find format specifications to easily import practitioner data to the IQRS? Misplaced installation instructions? Refer to this page frequently for software downloads, format specifications, and user documentation.

SSL Certificate Upgrade for QRXS

On August 19th, 2011, the NPDB migrated its current SSL Certificate to an updated SSL Certificate to promote improved security for all system users. QRXS users must upgrade their Java Runtime Environment (JRE) to version 1.6.0_19 or higher. IQRS users will be unaffected by this change. A connection error associated with the SSL Certificate will occur if a version prior to 1.6.0_19 is used.

The latest version of the JRE is available from http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/java/javase/downloads/index.html exit disclaimer. If an upgrade to 1.6.0_19 is not possible, a cacerts file is available below. Users must replace the existing cacerts file in their JRE's lib/security directory (e.g., C:\Program Files\Java\jre6\lib\security or C:\Program Files\Java\jdk1.6.0_12\jre\lib\security) to successfully execute the QRXS applications.

Do not use the test environment for final submission of files. For information about how to access the QRXS test environment, see the QRXS Client Program User Guide (PDF - 445 KB) or the QRXS Web Service User Guide (PDF - 359 KB). Additional information may be found in the QRXS Response File Test Mappings (PDF - 144 KB). You may also contact the Customer Service Center at 1-800-767-6732.
