I submitted my query a couple of hours ago; why haven't I received the response?

Under certain circumstances, additional processing time may be required to complete a query. Submitting a query with insufficient, inaccurate, or invalid data may result in a delayed response. If you do not receive a query response within one business day of submission, please contact the NPDB Customer Service Center to request a query status. If you have not received a response, please do not submit another query on the subject in question, as this will result in a duplicate transaction and additional query fees.
