I am locked out of my account; how can I get back in?

Go to the Account Help page to unlock your account. To unlock your account go to the Account Help page. You may also contact your Data Bank administrator to unlock your account and reset your NPDB password.

Note: If you use multi-factor authentication, or MFA, and need help to sign in, go to the ID.me exit icon website, or for PIV and CAC card users go to How to Log into MFA with PIV or CAC Credentials, and follow the instructions there.
