Professions Covered by Multi-State Licensure Action Codes
Beginning July 31, 2026, the NPDB will allow the use of multi-state licensure actions for a wider array of professions. These actions are described in the NPDB Codes List in tables 17 and 18 and are already available for all Nursing professions.
Multi-state licensure actions will be expanded to the following professions:
- Audiologists (400) and Speech-Language Pathologists (460)
- Emergency Medical Services Personnel (240, 250, 270, 280, 281)
- Physical Therapists (430, 440)
- Occupational Therapists (410, 420)
- Psychologists (371, 372, 373, 374)
- Professional Counselors (621, 651, 652, 653, 660)
- Social Workers (300)
Reporters of licensure actions on these professions will be able to submit initial, correction and revision reports using the multi-state licensure codes. Queriers should expect reports with multi-state licensure codes.
