Individual One-Time Query and Continuous Query are Merging into NPDB Query
On December 4, 2026, the NPDB will release NPDB Query, merging the Individual One-Time Query and Continuous Query services. Visit the NPDB Query Merger page for details to learn how you can best prepare for NPDB Query in December.
For previously submitted Individual One-Time Queries you can now Export a File of Individual One-Time Query Subjects and Import the File as new Continuous Query Enrollments. In December, Continuous Query enrollments will automatically transfer to NPDB Query enrollments.
Continuous Query
24 hours a day, 365 days a year, Continuous Query keeps you informed about your enrolled practitioners. You will receive email notifications within 24 hours of a report received by the NPDB. Continuous Query is only for querying on practitioners, not health care organizations.
Like One-Time Query, Continuous Query meets legal and accreditation requirements for querying the NPDB.
